The Treasury Markets Association (TMA) was incorporated through the institutionalisation of the Treasury Markets Forum of Hong Kong and the merger with ACI-The Financial Markets Association of Hong Kong in 2005. Principal functions of the TMA include promoting co-operation and synergy among market practitioners with a view to enhancing professionalism and the overall competitiveness of the treasury markets in Hong Kong, thereby maintaining the role as an international financial centre. Also, as the operator of major financial benchmarks (such as HIBOR) in Hong Kong, the TMA upholds the robustness and credibility of the administered benchmarks. This includes reviewing whether and how to refine benchmarks administered having regard to international recommendations and local market conditions. We are currently looking for a candidate to join the benchmark administration team.

Job Description

  • Responsible for daily benchmark monitoring/surveillance process and its reporting;
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and testing as required;
  • Support the team with clerical work;
  • Provide IT and application support

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder and fresh graduates (preferably with majors in finance / economics / computer science) will also be considered;
  • Exercising due diligence and attention to detail is crucial;
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential, along with Excel skills, including VBA, as well as problem-solving and time management skills
